My favorite fruit based treats for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.
In my free time during Covid, I loved being able to find different recipes on how to make my favorite healthy treats at home. These are some of my favorite recipes that I've made then and since found that I'll make on the weekends, or prep the night before school. If you have a sweet tooth like me, I hope you'll enjoy these just as much as I do!

Green Smoothie
Smoothies are one of my favorite drinks that I'll usually have for breakfast or after school. This green smoothie is super flavorful. First, I blend some spinach with a little bit of water and create a 'juice', then I'll add the fruits (a handful of each) and blend again. I recommend adding more frozen fruits for a thicker smoothie, or almond milk as a liquid base as well.

Strawberry Chia Seed Pudding
I recently discovered this recipe on Tiktok and it turned out being so delicious and easy to make. First I blended 5-6 strawberries with about a half a cup of almond milk, a tsp of vanilla extract and a tbsp of maple syrup, then added this liquid base to 5-6 tbsp of chia seeds and let it sit for an hour or more in the fridge. You can top with any fruits, but I topped it with strawberries and honey. This is super easy to make the night before school as an on-the-go breakfast.

Acai Bowl
With so many acai bowl shops near me, I wanted to be able to make my own bowls at home. I find most of the ingredients at Trader Joes, and will blend an acai packet with frozen berries as a base with a little bit of water. Then you can add whatever toppings you like, I love to add nutella and fruit like strawberries, blueberries, and bananas.
